We are not Zombies!! By Laura Grace

We are Not Zombies! (Participation in your Salvation Process)
By Laura Grace (author of Grace to Grow and Grace to Grow "part 2' (MORE)

In the Book of John, we will find where Jesus is telling the Disciples about the Spirit of the Lord (John; 14: 16) He, Jesus Prayed to the Father to Give us the... "Comforter" to abide with us Forever! Now.. this "Abiding" is not a "bodily presence" as in coming into us like a 'demon spirit' would, to take over our actions, thoughts and all else that makes us Independant Living Souls. (There have been those who think and believe it is so) But, if God did it this way, we would not or could not be responsible for ourselves, and we would not encounter any Judgement, for the Holy Spirit would dictate our lives For us.

If this were the case then, The Holy Spirit would (as a demonic spirit does)- control and not allow us to make mistakes, errors, for if He were like a demonic spirit, we would not have a "Will of our own" and all of everything we would ever do or say would be completely and perfectly in line with God and His ways. We would not have to go through the Transformation by the Renewing of the mind?

We would not have any "flesh" problems. The "flesh" would have been Crucified, Died, and been Buried all at once.. leaving us with no personification of ourselves in any way. Salvation would be a "God Take-over process" and the Lord would have to Praise Himself through us, He would be Thanking Himself through us, we would all be in a state of perfection from day one with the Lord. (sounds nice, but it does not work that way)

We would be God-Zombies! You would have no "choice" but to be Like the Lord at all times?

I have heard of many who have asked the Holy Spirit to come into them and Take Over.. or for Jesus to come and take over their lives.. for Jesus to live through them to the extent that they would not have to deal with "life on earth" and Coast Through this life all cozy and comfortable in the knowledge that they would have to do nothing any longer but to go along with whatever the Lord and Holy Spirit chose to do or say through them.. yes, I have known them to be this way.. and, it does not work as this. God is not our "dictator" He does not Bend or Make us do anything we do not wish to.. the Lord Assists us in Growing up in Him into the "All things that pertain to life and Godliness" to be Christ-Like.

I wished to touch upon this for the different "Ideas, Thoughts, Doctrines that may have touched your life at some time, and to attack them at their roots.

One says "He who began a good work in you will complete it" but that doesn't mean "God does it all" you are in Covenant with him and it's a partnership: we are not puppets on a string!

What do you suppose would happen if your child saw you drive and decided to do it too (with no instructions from you?) Some of the most hurtful things every done by one Christian to another was done because: "Hey I prayed so every word that comes out of my mouth has to be GOD!" (not so!) and many do also spiritualize their fears, anger and many other "FEELINGS" that need to be prayed about and cut away!

What is offensive to God he desires to "cut' (away from us) but he won't without our permission! This relationship with God is a very big thing! Truly it is! If God just decides how we will be why did he ask ADAM to name the animals then? (since he was so into being in control of us and all?) .....We need to THINK about all the things that go on in the bible besides that one little passage set before us! amen!

Now.. IF we have ever Read our Bibles, we would notice that "all who have ever became Christians, Filled with the Spirit of the Lord, did many things that were.. as we could say.. "not Kosher" for Paul, Peter, James, even Jesus rebuked when it was necessary: their "sinful things" being done in the Church, with and among others.

Therefore, we have to "live and be responsible for ourselves" even learning, growing, and Becoming as we receive the Words of Faith from the Holy Spirit into our hearts and minds. For the Lord will not Ever decide what one should do.. as He has created us "freewill agents" as the Bible says.. "Whosoever Will" and THAT remains a Constant throughout our entire lives. From my upcoming book Grace to Grow Part 2! (Laura Grace) Father help us to find that balance between learning of you as we need to and to combine it with Your Spirit ......not being so spiritual we are no earthly good or so earthly we lack the things of your Spirit "Help us be balanced" Lord we pray!

In Jesus' name......minister of the Lord and yours (and his) servant,

GRIEF: Am I just too emotional? By Laura Grace

GRIEF!
are some people just emotional? Or is Grief experienced in different ways?

by Laura Grace (Author Of Grace to Grow)

" Father I thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing out
what you have put in my heart and what you have taught me Father
and help me articulate this and to share with others "Your rivers of life"
deep within me, In Jesus name I pray, and let it be a help in others
understanding better their relationship with You and with others...amen"

Grief! It hits us all doesn't it? Ever dropped an egg on the floor and just
watched it spatter down the fridge to the floor making a big mess? Good
GRIEF! (I have said this) but that is not the type of grief I am talking about
here, although that kind can be a real pain; In the midst of a busy day!

Some people grieve at Christmas because they no longer have a family or
they grieve because they lost everything they own or maybe their child will
no longer speak to them and for them "it's like death." All hope is gone the
relationship is severed and yes "It feels like death" to them. When we go to
a funeral what are we grieving about? We won't see them anymore this side
of Heaven! They are lost, they are gone right? For some knowing their loved
ones aren't saved feels "just as bad" is that wrong of them to feel this way?
Well it can't be: For we know God's Son experienced that type of grief as well.

Grief is experience by people in different ways because people are so very
different. Jesus grieved before he went to the cross and wrestled with "what"
was about to happen to him (in advance!!) Therefore, by the time he went
nothing caught him by surprise! I know that the King of Kings housed in a
human body, yet perfect in every way, was so overcome by pain he cried
out "My God my God......why hast thou forsaken me?" He knew what was
coming "yet' it appears he was caught off guard or by surprise? Not so!

Some people believe the only type of grief that is important or relevant is
when someone dies or someone is in a tragic accident. I have made it my
almost full time job to study and pray for people for years now, and also
I ask the Lord a lot of questions about relationships. When I do go to pray
for someone I go and say so Lord, what is up with them? In a lot of cases
he shows me! (by His Spirit!!).

I know there are many books, teachings, Psychology and much learning to
be had about grief and it's process (as well as the stages of grief as well.)
What many do not realize is: That some people do: "grieve in advance"
because they see what is coming. Therefore there are those who see that
someone is going to a road which leads to destruction or they see that their
marriage is going to come apart at the seams (In advance mind you, they
see this coming) and it's a different thing than being negative because the
bible says that the Holy Ghost "warns us" of things to come!

TO teach that everything will be hunky dory all the time and "life will be a
bed of roses with no thorns" if only you believe is not a responsible teaching.
People who "grieve in advance" as I call it are often very misunderstood
people. People who do sense and know (by the Spirit of God) something
unpleasant is going to happen are seen as negative, when actually God's
love to prepare us in advance (for certain things) is a gift of his loving kind
ness towards us. Jesus saw in advance what would happen with Peter, even
that Peter would deny him thrice.

To Peter I'm sure, this seemed like a very negative thing, and his response of course was:
"Never, that's not going to happen!" (but, it did!).

Words of Knowledge from the Lord, Warnings as well as happy promises of life and blessing
are all meant to edify and build up the Body of Christ.

As I continue to say (and will always say) these cookie
cutter doctrines that keep us from knowing ALL we need to know about the
Lord really do HAVE TO GO in order for us to not only see him as he really is,
but to become more like him! The Lord has blessed me with many things to share
but I do hold back sometimes, (I admit this) not wanting to upset anyone's apple
carts. We do need to realize that GRIEF (like so many other subjects) is a very
painful thing! People who grieve in advance because the Lord has already shown
them what is going to happen should not be seen as "Just being emotional!" A
person who just suffered a loss in the natural we never dare say such a thing!

When Peter told Jesus he would not go to the cross Jesus said (looking at him but
actually talking to the devil) "Get behind me satan!". WOW, how would any of us
handle that if Jesus said that to us, just because we were trying to be positive?
When God said we should "weep with those who weep" did he only mean if someone
just passed away? (did he even say that?) HMM ..........

Maybe its time to ask ourselves if some (forms) Of depression are actually repressed
grief because of all these rules and regulations we put on people about "what is valid"
(in terms of grief) or what is not valid? So often people Decide WHAT is appropriate
or what isn't based on some idea they have that never came from God in the first place!

Positively yours, and convinced more than ever of God's incredible love for us all,
and with Love,

Living in the Light #1 The new Covenant meal (or communion)

The Lord spoke to my heart yesterday and said: You said you were going to write about communion and never did! "you were scared to do it" He said...."don't be" .....

Living in the Light #1 The New Covenant Meal:

Are we keeping this under the shadow somehow? By Laura Grace

Did you know I used to worry before I took communion
and now I don't? All this hooga booga boo stuff about
make sure you are right with God can be SO easily
settled! (Just by hearing what God has to say about it!)

If we are Ambassadors it stands to reason we should
be able to BECOME eventually the priests and Kings
God said we are to be. None of this was conditional
in our bible upon being Jewish, receiving a piece of
paper to prove it or anything else. Our bible says "WE
ARE" (Priests, Kinds and Ambassadors for him!). this is
what we are becoming "other sons' ....(of his!) and if we
aren't then what are we becoming exactly? and why?

The early disciples went from house to house breaking bread
and having communion with each other!

For too long the Lord's table has been turned into some
mysterious "shrouded' thing that was meant to be a
blessing for all who Love Him! It's a Celebration, it's a
Revelation, it's a remembrance not only of what Jesus
accomplished for us at the cross, but also a reminder
of our covenant with him. The bread contains lashes if
we make the bread ourselves (which by the way I do!)
representing the stripes Jesus took for our healing.

I was fascinated to learn about the bread of faces and
what all was involved with communion! Oh the depth
of it all! and to think Jesus really does "want me to know"
all the questions I have ever had in my heart about things!
He is so Good! He wants us to Know him! I know this
because otherwise he wouldn't have (in all fairness) said
go away I did not know you, unless he planned on letting
us truly KNOW HIM! the thing is how? How do we do that?

Did you know when Jesus talked about entering into covenant
a lot of people following him went away Sad? (and followed
him no more?). Something to ponder.

I have made unleavened bread many times,
standing and reading the scripture that goes with it. The
meal was even eaten before Jesus came! (unleavened
bread with the cup!)

Jesus had this meal with his disciples
making a covenant with them, letting them know his body
and blood were given yes, but when we eat and drink we
also remember HE Is the river of life HE IS the "FOOD"
(Bread) that we eat and are nourished spiritually.

Also, I have  many teachings and things on this subject but this
is the shortest version I know to give "The cup" the bread'
it's for everyone that enters into covenant fellowship with
Jesus (or wants to) and you can and should do communion
whenever you want to with the Lord! Amen!

with Love and blessings! (and there is a lot more I could say
but I don't want to shake you too much or rock your boat more
than you want me to!) still there is much to say about communion
or what I call "the Covenant Meal" ....Lots and lots and lots to
say just on this one subject! I Just love learning from the Lord
It's awesome! and I do run it by my husband and he'll say "GO
WRITE IT DOWN" ....this is "GOOD STUFF" He says "GO WRITE
IT DOWN"............so often the Spirit of God in me gets going
and I preach to Tim! LOL (and he doesn't mind a bit either!!)

"Take eat" THIS IS (my body) HINT: "I am the bread of life!)
THE Word of God is FOOD! Something to chew on? Drink from
the well? if this is something everyone could get and even those
who don't believe it would not be supernatural? Would it?

Line upon line, precept upon precept..........

Darkness and Light (Part 2)

Darkness and Light: Part 2: there are none so blind as those who will not see. (by Laura Grace).

I want to continue about darkness and light as the Lord leads me to share these things. Father in the name of Jesus bless this message I pray... and let it be of some help to those who both need and want to hear it so they can and are able to grow more in you ..Amen."

Now to continue, in John 1:5 God said "in him" is no darkness at all. To be IN HIM (as in 1John) means to be in his Light all the way or at least be willing to do so. Light is truth and righteousness! If that were not so then in John 3:19-21 where it talks about "those who practice" darkness "hating the light" would not be mentioned. Surely it was not talking about light coming through your window from the sunshine in the morning but THE LIGHT OF GOD (and his Truth!!) Amen!

It's hard for us to wrap our brains around the fact that some people choose and want to do evil and are choosing to 'hate the light" because they love to do evil! That they know better (deep down) and that they are not willing (not willing) to come around to the Truths we hold so dearly. Beloved, I am not saying to give up on everyone but to wear ourselves out praying for those who hate truth is not a good idea. Even the parable of the 5 wise virgins in the bible

(look it up use www.blueletterbible.com) but to use up your oil of God on those who wish to stay the way they are right now is "Not Wise" or using God's Wisdom! Far better to accept that as the book of John says "SOME" Will and do love to do their evil deeds (practicing darkness) and for now they wish to stay that way! Think with me a minute here okay?

Jesus expounded to His DISCIPLES who asked him and furthered their revelation of Him and of what he was saying to them. He also prayed to the Father "for these you have given me" which was the persons who truly wanted to know Him! I don't like to see people suffer without God it breaks my heart (and his too by the way) but if the Church does not get a total GRIP on the fact that there are men who LOVE DARKNESS They will (many) continue to waste their time and energy meant to build up the rest of the People of God on futile and fruitless endeavors. I don't advise running into some pool full of bullies asking to be "beat up' when there is so much Good work to do in the Kingdom of God and people who need help with Growing.

There are people who need deliverance and to be prayed for and set free from the grasp of the devil or who need supernatural healing but not everyone wants to be saved or have any part of the Kingdom of God and his light! to both know and remember this and to ask God before we LEAP into the assumption everyone wants Him will serve us well in our work for His Kingdom.

"Lord please let this message sink in with those who need it that they may no longer feel responsible for those who "DO NOT" want anything to do with you right now. in Jesus' name I pray that you would free us up to serve you and to grow in you and not be caught up trying to help or save those who totally hate what you stand for.

In Jesus' name. amen" (to be continued) Laura Grace

Light and Darkness; How does Darkness get in (Part 1)

Light and Darkness; Part 1 (by Laura Grace)
Part 1: How Darkness gets in

There is a whole lot more to be said about light and darkness
than just "let there be light!" Darkness represents lies of the
dark kingdom and the Light of God is ...
what shines into our
hearts (the glorious Gospel!) and let's us know the TRUTH
that not only makes us free but also saves our souls.

Whenever we choose to believe or "put" our faith in a lie
that lets darkness into our soul (and your mind by the way!)
Therefore this is a very serious study, one that needs to be
considered, pondered and meditated upon! It's important we
do not allow "LIES" into our souls, which is the reason we need
to stop and think about what we are believing, vs just believing
everything we hear that comes down the pike. the bible says
even if an angel preaches "another gospel" let him be accursed.

It really all starts with a person wanting to believe what they
want to believe, what feels GOOD (to their flesh to believe in)
and refusing to hear anything that does not line up with what
"FEELS GOOD TO THEM!". The Gospel, while truly able to save our
souls, often and almost always does not FEEL GOOD to our flesh

(our human thinking) or what we would LIKE to hear! Our flesh
is prone to wanting to hear lies, this is why Paul said he had to
beat himself into submission, and why the Lord said to not despise
chastising from him. There is much to be said about chastising, but

it is not something the Lord wants us to be ignorant about for sure.
Before we allow God (and his light) INTO our hearts it's like we are blind or at least "blindfolded!" This is why Jesus said to his DISCIPLES "blessed are your eyes" (to see) many wanted to know and could not know. There are volumes to be said "JUST on the Subject of light (and also darkness!!) so for now suffice to say: "let us pray"

Father in the name of Jesus, we truly want YOUR LIGHT and we do not wish to be blind or blindfolded to the Glorious truths of your Gospel Father! And we certainly don't wish to say we can SEE and lie about it because if we do that you can never really help us so long as WE do not admit that we have "THIS NEED" To SEE you more clearly and follow you more nearly.......day by day!" Falling Away.....(let us pray)

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house;
and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Most everyone who is a christian has heard of the great falling away.
Do you actually know the main reason this is going to happen? The
main reason is because of bad teachings and people choosing to have
faith about things that are "other' than what God actually was telling
them to do! This Relationship is "everything" that we talk about is
far more (FAR MORE) Important than most really do realize.

See, if you don't hear from God and you don't understand how to build
your house according to his instructions- then IT WILL be built on sand.

So many people out there are so overly-concerned about whether you
can or cannot lose your "salvation" so we have those who teach we can,
those who teach we cannot and those who preach something in between!

The truth is, Jesus talked about the house built upon the sand! Many think
"doing' (his words) means going to church, saying your prayers, witness
here or there and some sort of "DOGMA" OR it means being very super-
spiritual about everything to the point nobody can hardly stand you "OR"
maybe getting a book and doing everything THEY said they did (like some
  do-it-yourself instruction manual?).

The titanic: (case In point) the captain was WARNED! (did you know this?) He
was warned and chose "not to listen' so the boat sank!

I was watching this show (on television) investigating what might have
gone wrong but the truth is the captain (DID NOT LISTEN!)

I don't know about you- but I do not care to be on "that type of boat" if I can help it!

There is a saying: "Well we are all in the same boat." The disciples were in a boat with Jesus and there was a storm but he was there "rose up" and told the storm to be still. That boat "That day" was THEIR church service! Ever think about that?

I don't think I can get much clearer than this Matthew Jesus said "and great was the fall" (of the house!) And in Thess. It also says there will be a great falling away.

My books are just a real small appetizer compared to all The Lord has put in my heart to say or share or "re sow" or whatever you wish to call it. The real and true heart behind my book and why I wrote it is this: I want to encourage anyone and everyone I can that you CAN be founded and grounded in Christ no matter what comes or goes.

Whether you have "the ideal circumstances' Or not, whether you have a church or a way to get there "or not" and also to say pray!

Pray to be a lover of truth and to know the truth! don't leave it up to someone else to spoon feed you all your life. Dig your heels in, get in there and "PRAY TO GROW" :)

"Where do I go from here?"
America's top 20! by Laura Grace

Father in the name of Jesus! Help
us to stop talking about what we
need to do and actually Do it! Help
us to see you as you really Are and
get you out of those boxes we have
put you in and expand our horizons!

Oh sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
amen! Psalm 96:1 KJV

I was thinking the other day about these ads I see on TV
"the top 20" and this had to do with music, but I think it
also has to do with the same messages and sermons we
often hear day after day. OH they are good! (those songs)
and it's good to sing along with them too! (We know them
already!).

We are busy taking our shower, getting ready for
work or shopping or cleaning the house (taking care of kids)
and we want to feel better so we sing "those old tunes" that
we know so well! (Right?).

The thing is, I realized a long time ago that singing those songs
(while wonderful indeed) or even "quoting" the same scriptures
I'd been quoting for years, not to mention my saying "it's not
about religion it's about relationship" but KNOWING down in
my heart The reality of that statement was NOT something I
was fully living!

Oh sure, I had experiences with God, encounters
and testimonies, "light bulb moments" and such but I truly wanted
to know him! I was in bible school, studying, praying, doing everything
the minister said and wanting so desperately to totally understand the
good news of God so I could fully share it with others!

Who is actually chosen? (I wondered) How do we know they are chosen?
How do we know if we are chosen? how do we know just because someone
is out there preaching they are actually of God? Is it because of their great
following? THE REASON we sing those same old songs is because they
become so familiar to us (you see) and many of the sermons we hear are
very good, but they don't always fit "our lives" exactly!

We need the Lord to give us recipe's For US that work with what we have
(amen?) As sometimes we cannot even afford (or find) all the very expensive
ingredients we are told will make: "the perfect cake!". A big part of what this
ministry is about (Grace to Grow) is believing YOU TOO can write a song and
YOU TOO can sing a "different tune" and be yourself IN HIM!

YOUR (unique) testimony in the Lord is like "another song" that nobody has
heard yet! It is added to the very arsenal of Heaven's Praises (toward the
Lord!). We need to stop being so afraid of the doctrines of men and study,
pray, learn and see that OUR (unique) testimony of how God brought us out
is not necessarily a recipe for others but an inspiration for them to have a
testimony too! Your Testimony is like "a song" and it doesn't have to be
just like the top 20 (songs) you have already heard to be good!

Father please, I pray people out there everywhere will begin to believe they
can be a light and another shining Testimony for you! I pray people will have
their own stories (in you) and will share, declare and tell those stories! I pray
you will bring to fruition the answer to that prayer Jesus prayed so long ago:

"Let them be one" as we are one" ......"Glorify yourself"

Let the Testimonies of the saints arise and while our songs may be a bit different,
let all of them bring Praise, Honor and Glory to you Lord' including my own.'

amen! Laura Grace

God patiently waits.........and is so very patient with us. (let us pray)

"God Patiently Waits' by Laura Grace

God Patiently waits for us to return to him

He Patiently waits for us to heal.....

He Patiently waits for us to GET IT ....
(and to understand) ......

God is a very patient Person.

You know I had this friend say to me today
"never pray for patience' (you will get trials).

The Truth is sometimes it takes a long time to heal
and it takes a very long time to get (sometimes) what
God is trying to get across.

The Lord is so PATIENT...he would never ask us
to have it unless he has it towards us FIRST!

We love because he loves us first (and we have a chance to
absorb that and let it sink in deep!)

So many people Jump the gun and start talking about God
and what he is like never really knowing what he is like at
all. How can you know someone you have never listened to?
How can you "get to know" someone you have never let in
all the way? how can you know the thoughts of your friend
if you never sat down with them and asked them what they
think (about a certain thing?).

The friends you treasure most...is it because of what someone
else said about them or what They said to YOU? What they
DID For you? .....how do you become "a friend of God?"

God waited so patiently for me to just ask him.......
and for years I just ran around grasping at scriptures here
and there "being" in such a big fat hurry to think I knew him
so I could go tell everyone else! ........

God Patiently trains us before he asks us to run any races
and he waits (Patiently) until we are ready........

Father God you are so Patient with me.....and you have Faith
and see the finished product "OF ME" ....Please help me to be
patient with myself and others as well and to remember ......

Never worry about Time........there is always time....(in You
oh Lord) .........In Jesus' name I pray.

amen
