Following the commander's Orders. By Laura Grace

God wouldn't have told us to resist the devil if he was going to do it for us.
he would not have told us to lay hands on the sick or anoint them with oil
if he did not plan to heal them. he doesn't go around setting us up for failure.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal they are in the spirit. We do not
use the same weapon every time. Our brother may be used to throw a truth
bomb while our sister may be used to shoot an arrow of prophecy into the
air to hit the target (the enemy) while another may be used for prayer or yet
another to demonstrate or show love to someone which will cause THEM
to resist the enemy rather than going along with him. corporate worship is
a huge shield of faith raised up as we praise and glorify God.

Nobody has a corner on the market concerning weapons (of warfare) we are in the army
of the Lord and we all have our various assignments and should obey the
commanding officer's orders.

Leaders are like officers they give direction but
the effectiveness of the unit still depends on dedication and teamwork.
I believe more than ever before we need to see just how many people
there are in the Army of the Lord and stop seeing only our little unit.

Father in the name of Jesus, help us do our part! We resist you satan
and believe with Jesus for unity in the body of Christ right now. you
are toast! (burnt toast!) we have awakened.

Make sure!

Make sure: A poem by  Laura Grace

In the civil war we're facing
Get in God's army now
He's into truth and Mercy
He'll strengthen and endow
His people with great power
and victory over sin
He'll set the captives free
and saint and God will win!
Don't despise his mercy
do not fall from Grace
If you're not sure what side you're on
It's time to seek his face
The southern gents who fought
to keep their slaves and wealth
surely lost their lives,
their joy and and peace, and health
And those who recognize
What Jesus wants to do
will surely get their armor
and fight this battle too
We're fighting for the gospel
that sets the captives free
We don't hold slaves for profit-
We want the blind to see
We're not concerned with scolding
a woman caught in sin
Now Joshua used Rahab (a prostitute)
to hide the spies and win!
to hide the spies and win!
Our message isn't difficult
It's simple and it's true
If you want mercy from the Lord
You need to give it, too
and if you want forgiveness
forgive those who offend
Cause if you don't you'll find yourself
in pain that never ends
Don't suppress the truth
don't lift yourself above
the Lord of Hosts, the mighty king
who's gentle as a dove
he's a God of Mercy
and Lord of Vengeance Too
He said revenge is his
he knows just what to do
He alone is wise
His wisdom we will share
But no one shares his throne,
so fight him, if you dare
Ask for understanding
seek him in this time
one more story, just for you
before we end this rhyme
King Saul became an enemy to God and David too
and by God's Grace King David
walked merciful and true
Refusing to take vengeance
upon his enemy
Saul was so in Torment,
he took his life, you see
Grace to you dear person
who longs to be like him
His grace, it will empower you
To stay in there and win
God is our instructor
our avenger too
You haven't time to fight with him
surrender or you'll lose!
Give Jesus all the glory
give him all your heart
You won't regret it, child of his
He's loved you from the start
He is your redeemer
Your shepherd and the King
He is only interested
in giving everything
It takes to get you home
to live with him forever
So do not heed the lies
that come with stormy weather
If faith is ebbing low
You know where you should go
sit and read his written word
and let the river flow
The river of his spirit
is flowing to this day
seek it friends, and then go out
be willing to obey
He'll show you, he will show you
he promised that he will,
ask him for direction,
and then get very still
Trust in him and not yourself
and not in human minds
You will find his Grace divine
will be there everytime

Afraid to Question God

FRESH REVELATION this morning I am sharing (from God to me and from me to you!) how the enemy likes to enter is with a question! (always) he did it to Adam and he did it to Jesus. "Didn't God say?" and he'll begin to question WHAT God TOLD YOU.

Remember God Spoke to Adam and eve about the tree and then here comes the question "really you can't?" ....or Jesus knew what his mission was for and satan questioned him "if you are the Son of God" (He IS and WAS the son of God what a... stupid question!)

Therefore we are often afraid to ask God questions because we know everything bad started with "A Questions!" but there are two kinds, the kind meant to trip up the things of God and the Kind that wants Understanding!

Wanting to understand is hugely important, the Lord wants us to understand his Word (don't be like a horse or mule he says, that has no understanding) so we ask God GOOD questions.....what did you mean by that Lord how does this apply to me I know you want me to UNDERSTAND!

That is different from the way the enemy does it he is always wanting people to question God's motives "did you say you were love" He might say: "so how come you allow hell?"

....Whenever you find yourself questioning the goodness of God you can bet it started with the enemy asking a bad "unbelief-provoking question" .....What would you want YOUR kids to do if your motives were questioned?

Wouldn't you want them to run to you and let you know what was going on? If you just believe the bad how can God help you? Run to him (he is your Father) he is the Good Father not the Father of lies. Grace to Grow Part 2 Laura Grace

Heavenly Food

Heavenly Food By Laura Grace
You're standing in the Grocery store
There's rows and rows of boxes
...
You can't decide "just what to eat
And you're "smarter than a "fox is"
When you're reading all the labels
You're trying to decide
What food might be good for you
Cause you are hungry, down inside
As you settle on a purchase
You really aren't "quite sure"
But you need something to eat
So the race you can "endure"
Weeks of eating what you bought
you're feeling a little sick
You try a couple other "foods"
and nothing does the trick
Why not ask for heaven's food?
Prepared by God above?
He knows just what to feed you
It's always served in Love
He will not "make you" eat it,
He's not that kind of Dad
But if you ask him your will find
it's the best you've ever had!
Amen
"Give us this day, our daily bread"
Matthew 6
By Laura grace
2 Corinthians 6:17

Vegetables!

God wants us to eat and drink his word! this is part of what communion is saying to us "TAKE IT" (I am the word and the bread of life!) I wish more people could grasp this concept it's very powerful (and healthy) why would he lead us to GREEN PASTURES (to eat!!) Try thinking of the word as Food and not a knowledge things so much (it helps you grow)

Vegetables: Some people (it says in the bible) eat only vegetables. in the bible it also says something about you need milk not ...solid food (making it sound like a bad thing) but the writers of our bible let us know (and so did Jesus) his word is FOOD! (and milk!) Diamond used to write these sermons I was expecting something lofty or deep and he would talk about food! some people can live on a vegetable sermon and some bread and we are not to put them down.

Others get in deep and chew a lot of meat! Others have milk and bread together and are very blessed so .......see there is no right or wrong way to eat and drink the things of God and nobody is "BAD" If they do not seem to understand what we say or partake of! The important thing is not to make anyone stumble and cheer them on for eating and growing! I wish I had learned this sooner in my life I would have been a better preacher of the Gospel. -Laura Grace

What is the Gospel?

The reason the disciples grew into apostles and men of God is because they received what Jesus had to say and attentively soaked it in! When he said those who hunger and thirst, he was not kidding! When he said to the religious folks of that day; “My word has no place in you” he was saying you won’t receive it, you won’t eat it, and you won’t partake of what I have to say! Listen I had to really slow myself down to learn how to “chew’ on the word of God like a cow chews on her cud! While I am doing this I begin to see all kinds of other things that the spirit of God wants to show me! When Jesus said “this is my body” “broken for you” did you hear the word broken? He said “my food” is to do the will of my Father! He talked about food a lot actually and even Ezekiel was told to ‘eat a book!” Why do children grow? Do they grow by just imitating their parents or do they grow because of other reasons? If we teach our child to clean the kitchen, wash the toilet, cook and pick up their room does that mean they are ready to go out and run a household and have families of their own? Filling up pews does not mean we are growing! And we don’t have (as a church) any business out there in the world with our fingers pointing at people screaming: “sinner!” I don’t think Paul could have been any more clear when he said we must look at what is going on WITH US and IN US and not be judging those who are outside! don't be so shocked by the unsaved sinning: sinners sin that's what they do! We need to eat, drink and soak in the things of the Lord, not just learn about it and use it as a ruler to smack people's hands with! We need to offer the Love of Jesus (which we have received) and keep on offering it! Those who make God sound like an angry Father mad at everyone are not preaching GOOD NEWS which is what the Gospel is and was designed to be! Are you preaching good news or scaring people have to death? What would Jesus do  and what did he do ? Let's be like that! -Laura Grace

a Song of Hope: by Laura Grace

Song of Hope  By Laura Grace  (2003)

Encompassed in Darkness
Lost in Despair
Nobody Listens
and Nobody Cares

That's how you're feeling
but it's not the truth
Jesus has loved you
from the times of your youth

Pour out to your best friend
Jesus my Lord
all your complaints
because he's never bored

I promise you this
The bible is true
He listened to Kings
and he'll listen to you

King David complained
Just read it in Psalms
vented and aired it out
all the day long

And I don't know when
Jesus responds
but he'll listen and help you
and give you a song

He is your light
Your salvation, your friend
He has created
a world without end

Talk to him now
He will never "retire"
From being your savior
your hope and your friend
He's your redeemer
from beginning to end

Ask for his guidance
Ask him for prayer
Ask him for everything
Be assured, He DOES care.

Credentials! What are they and where do I get them?

Credentials! What are your Credentials and how to get them? By Laura Grace
I was thinking today, (you know the Spirit of the Lord actually gave me permission to do that!)
Let’s Pray: Father in the name of Jesus thank you that you will “convince me and bear Witness’ to my heart what is truth and what is fiction in Jesus’ name I pray: “I trust in thee.” Amen
So if someone does tell you about a new recipe that is super good to eat (and it sounds good to you) What do you do?

Some will want to taste it first, while others may venture out and buy the ingredients and take their chances (believing what they hear!!) and to follow this train of thought even further, do You insist that every recipe you try is made by a “real chef’ before you ever try it? (Me neither!).
Now in keeping with that thought, what were Paul’s credentials? He said he counted all of it rubbish (what there was of his credentials) that he could gain Christ! Those Fishermen who followed Jesus around what were their credentials? Also if someone is out shopping (let’s say) and someone asks for prayer do you go and check with the “head prayer person” to see if it’s okay to pray with them first?
There is nothing wrong with school and credentials, but I say we have made too much fuss over this over the years! Marriage licenses! A long time ago when I was very poor (and not serving God) I got married by a preacher from the newspaper who said she was ordained. She showed up and had liquor on her breath! (True story!) She was no more ordained the man in the moon but she “paid’ for this piece of paper that said she was? I went with it, as we had the license already and I had made up my mind that “marriage” was the way to go over being promiscuous and not being married! See my knowledge of God was very limited at the time so as far as I knew “getting married’ was going to make everything A-Okay! :)
This is just how we are (too often) as a society, as either we tend to grab on to who “HAS” these credentials or maybe how many people follow them is the ticket (cause all those people can’t be wrong can they?) and sometimes it even leads to chasing after Idols! In America we have this “thing” about stars, Hollywood, and even preachers are sometimes subject to become “our Idols’ so to speak! What they say is always true because thousands come to their meetings, right? Really?
So without going into that so much: What makes me believe YOU are qualified to do something is #1 you have studied it, #2 you have applied it, #3 you have a success with it as a result and it worked!
The next key is to let others sample what you have cooked, what you have done or what you have applied in your life if you want others to believe that what you say is true! Now think about Jesus for a minute: HE SAID many things which he also practiced and did, right? And what were his credentials?
Born of the Virgin Mary (which some choose to not believe, despite the testimonies) because really no scientist can now go back and prove this can they? So everything we know about God we have taken by Faith! We have evidence all around us there is a creator, we have this thing down in our heart that tells us THERE IS A GOD and he loves us! We may not understand all things but deep down “we know” just as we know when we meet a person who is not this idol (or rock star) whether they are of God or not of God. We just know! Why do we spend so much time trying to convince ourselves NOT to believe what we already know to be true?
Deep down we know this is a faith walk, we know God is going to use “nobodies’ to talk to us at times, we know his pearls of great price cannot be bought with silver or gold, and we know that what we KNOW (and have put into practice and had success) IS an area we are qualified to walk in! Let me ask you if you prayed for a backpack for your kids (because you couldn’t afford one) and you saw one on clearance the next day for $1 (and you have one dollar) and you just “happened’ to run into this deal wouldn’t you say that was God answering your prayer? After a time when things like this happen often you become convinced or persuaded fully “God is so faithful.” Now you are not just talking about a recipe you saw in a book and never tried, you have lived it and have “tasted and seen” that the Lord is Good for yourself! So credentials are nothing more than “paperwork” proving you are qualified to those who do not believe you have really studied or have learned what you say you know!
But what you know (and have proven to know by schooling) while it is commendable it is not what makes a person qualified! There is a lot of paid advertising that costs big bucks and I just got this email today that said: “An Angel of Prosperity” is going to bring you wealth just because you read this! POPPY SEEDS and lots of weeds! I don’t need to read some email to be prosperous, I need to apply myself to prospering in the word of God (so that my soul prospers) because this is where true prosperity lives!
I don’t have to go to some big lofty school to know I am qualified! I live it every day of my life (Qualified in the things of life and that which pertains to godliness, holiness and my relationship with God!)
Listen, if God is big enough to save you he is big enough to “teach you” and show you what you need to know! And let him use whoever he sends you too, not being picky about “who it is” k? Because to be picky about WHO he sends is just as bad as complaining about what he sends you to eat! (like that manna they found out in the wilderness?) Credentials!
You’ll know when someone is anointed to speak to your life trust me, YOU WILL KNOW! And when it happens follow your heart because that is what led you into a relationship with Jesus in the first place! Get back to that place where you trust God IN you to make a wise judgment (or decision) get back to that place where relationship with him is everything to you! If you do you’ll be happy you did! Speaking as one who did and IS and having no regrets whatsoever!
With Love and prayers and blessings, Peace! -Laura grace

Surviving or Overcoming ? .....there is a Difference!

Surviving something and Overcoming are two entirely different things. A person can survive something but when it's over they don't feel "on top" and whatever it was haunts them, troubles them, bothers them all the time.

AN Overcomer is like Rocky in those Sly Stallone Movies, no matter how many times they are knocked out they refuse to be defeated. they see themselves as more than conquerers and won't settle for less! Only we are not just boxing we are fighting off bitterness, anger, resentment, despair, depression, exhaustion, rejections, misunderstandings........
.
(and the list goes on and on) being robbed being forsaken by people at times who said they would never do that.....so what is your foe? Oh the devil of course he swears to knock us out ....we swear to knock him out! and who is going to win? .....Who will overcome and have their Joy Peace and determination to do things right INTACT ....why us of course! because we are overcomers!! ............(and not just survivors!) amen! and Please don't let yourself become like Khan.....

He is such a great example of what a Heart for Revenge can do to a person.....and he wasn't even fair about it ....for a heart of rage and revenge does not see the whole picture! Lord please help us be overcomers.....not just survivors and not full of hatred and rage ......Please make us Like you Father and help us to see we too can be a hero like you are ......and we can Win ....(and not be defeated) no matter how many times we may have been "knocked down" for the count.

How I study (by Laura Grace)

How I study (By Laura Grace) To me, learning from God is a 24 hour a day thing. I ask God to teach me what he wants to talk to me about (since he is my Father) and I've been doing this for a long time now. I chew on what he gives me and ponder it and ask him questions. I write it down.

Sometimes when I ask for understanding or more clarification about something it doesn't come to me for days and then all of a sudden the lights go on or I can feel or sense that voice... of many waters talking to me. Things "coming to me" all at once like when I first got saved and I started to just "KNOW" things. Now When I hear a good preacher I know it because God has already indicated some of those things to me and his words bear witness to what God has already said (the sheep know his voice amen?) and Pruning is when there are unnecessary or dead things that need to be trimmed away like things I have added my own understanding (or someone else's)

And: we all have different callings and gifts although we are ALL called to Grow (see Ephesians) we all grow up toward the Head which is Jesus Christ. The things God teaches us will help us with our everyday lives, our circle of friends and family, our jobs, our individual "posts" if you will. It stands to reason that we cannot get everything we need from one Sunday Sermon each week although we do love to gather together. There are many of you that can testify on God's faithfulness from everything to asking for a good deal on a car, having patience and having it happen to him leading you to say a clothing sale (like I did) because you wanted a new shirt!

Now we are not going to start a group "how to get deals' but I've had God help me create new recipes from what I had in my cupboard (just because I asked him) and see why I have faith is my faith is exercised from day to day in small things, and I gather more testimonies and I ask him to help with more things, and I gather more testimonies and this is how I grow (in part) and get strong in the Lord. I also eat my vegetables and drink my milk (the word of God) and I don't strive to be a know it all I actually "eat" (chew on) and swallow the word of God. He is the Bread of Life!

Well that's just a small sample of what I do everyday ........(every day) ...all day long!
This is all part of being IN HIM and IN THE LIGHT and he wants everyone to have this abundant life where he walks with you and talks with you and shows you things and reveals things (to you) and the more you treasure his words the more he will give you!

Its' awesome, wonderful ..........Completely AWESOME!!! and before you know it you are so excited seeking the Kingdom first all the other things do fall into place and well I thought I would share this ......now it's hard to stop but this is getting long.

Your friend and companion in the Journey called "LIFE WITH JESUS"
Laura Grace, Author, Grace to the Rescue and Grace to Grow
this is a sample from part 2 Grace to Grow "MORE" .......

and the more we have Jesus in us (He is Love) the less we have to fear.

Mama didn't Raise no Dummy!

you know, Mama didn't raise no dummy! *:) happyWhen I wrote both Grace to the
Rescue and Grace to Grow, I was aware the whole entire time I was writing
them "HOW" I could have captured my audience with titillating and perhaps
even more interesting stories that would grab their attention and stimulate
their mind! Most people like a suspenseful story that has a villain, damsel in
distress, characters they can relate to, all kinds of things of which I am and
was aware of as I was writing my story. My book(s) are not there to say what
anyone WANT to hear or to say what would get the most or biggest "rise' out
of someone: They are there to help you be encouraged (not matter what your
circumstances are) that "The Lord helped her" and- He can "help me too!"

My second book is to encourage that all can (and should) grow in the Lord by
learning to eat, to drink and to partake of the Word of God versus just knowing
it by memorization or by heart. Grace to Grow is a sampler, Grace to Grow
part 2 (currently being written) is the MORE you are hoping for!

I fully intend to get Part 2 out by this year it is currently being written.

I believe it's not just the words I put on pages that will help as the Spirit of God
will be with my writings to encourage you as you read them.

With love Prayers and a sincere heart to
see you Happy, Cherished and Growing in the Lord,

Travelling with Impatience (through the eyes of a child)

"Come on"
Said "Mom"

and "Make it Snappy"
Get in the car
and try to look "happy"

We're going somewhere
and we need to "get going"
Time is "ticking away"
and shows "no signs of slowing!'

so we got in the car
and my brother was Upset
he'd been playing outside
and he "wasn't done yet"

He was having such fun
and I too was not crazy
about really long car trips
where we are "forced to be lazy"

I remember the trips
to Grandma's house
having to sit in the back seat
"quiet as a mouse"

wondering WHEN we could stop and
"get drinks"
Having too Little to do
And "too much to think"

So I'd think about horses
galloping along
on the rolling plains
as we travelled along

Deep in thought, Interupted
by sounds of my brother
saying "out loud"
to my dad and my mother

"when do we get there?"
and "where are we going?"
I"m hungry and thirsty"
"my boredom is showing"

"oh just settle down"
my Mother would say
We'll get there real soon
and "then you can play"

So we "made up some songs"
and tried "going to sleep'
We tried to be good
and "not make a peep"

but sooner or later
the Journey got long
and we started the whining
"It's taking so Loooooooooooong!"

"quit crying" said Dad
Or I'll give you ""reasons to cry"
so we both shut our mouths
and didn't ask Why!

I think we both thought
we were not "being taught"
but simply just "forced"
to "sit there and rot"

the lessons of discipline
just "do not make sense"
at the time you go through them
it "seems like a fence"

LIke "something that hinders"
from just 'having some fun"
but you will cherish the outcome
when the discipline's done!

Well we'd stop at a station
and eat and "drink water"
and were told "go to the bathroom"
As we are going "much farther"

Well these lessons "like milk"
strengthened our spirits
Unless we are "stubborn"
and just "didn't want to hear it"

God is so smart!
We can "see his word"
coming alive!
in the things of this world!

As you think about children
and how we should be
As you think about seeds
or becoming "a tree"

as you follow you "Father'
keep remembering "this"
life is not always
"just full of bliss"

But he knows where he's "headed"
He's mapped out the way!
and although it's not all that "fun"
you're "secure all the way"
As your Heavenly Father
He knows "just what to do"

The Journey is simpler
If we just 'let him drive"
and try not to "complain"
or "break out in hives"

But when you have "moments"
just remember he loves you
Have a good cry
His ways are "above you"

You'll get where you're going
You can "have a good chat'
With your heavenly Father
and "sit on his lap'

He loves you he does!
but he won't change for you!
so it's best to find out
What he "wants you to do"

A Proclamation by Laura Grace

A Proclamation poem by Laura Grace

May your day be blessed
and Your Soul at rest
May the God of Peace
put satan under your feet
May the Lord of heaven
Who has no leaven
Put the words in your mouth
and Keep you from going south
You are blessed going in
and blessed going out
Stay in your God spot
Give the Jesus a shout
and say victory is mine
and don t let yourself doubt
Cause Jesus will finish
the work that he began
I am so glad he loves me
just as I am
but he loves me too much
To leave me that way
So I m Praising him for taking me
further today
Growing and Growing
Let s always being knowing
Our Lord a bit better
and let him break every fetter
and cares of this world
and things that do bind us
Let s be determined
to leave them behind us!

THE LIGHT and the Power of Light!

"The Light" and "The Spirit of the Living God" go hand in hand"

Let us pray "Father in the name of Jesus thank you for your words "let there be light" so long ago which still applies "forever and ever" amen and we "receive" the entrance of your light and your word in to our hearts "which will stand" forevermore.......In Jesus' name. Amen.

Did you ever go to one of those "home-made" haunted house type things when you were a kid? I did. Now my children did not have that experience because I did not allow them to celebrate "Halloween" but "as a kid" I can still remmeber when I went into one of those things and how it was all "dimly lit' and in the semi-darkness you could "see" say "a coffin" and as you walked by this "arm" would "reach out and grab you" and make me "Jump" and "Scream" and then as we would run to get out (of this spooky place) a "rubber spider" would brush across the top of our hair causing even more "fear" (and screaming) and all the kids would "scream" and "get out of there" and say "that was fun" or "that was scary" and tell everyone "you should go in there!"

Well my point is this: The only reason we were "scared" is because the room was so dimly lit (just enough light to see your way through this "place") and so had there been "a fully illuminated room" we would have seen that the "monsters" in there were "not dead" (because their eye lids were moving) or that it was "fake blood" or just a "rubber spider" and just all the tell-tale signs of this being one big "staged set up" would have been shown quite clearly 'had there been" "more light".

How many areas of your life (or others) are "dimly lit" do you suppose? I know people even "light candles" in a darkened room to have "romance" which is really "concealing" what we really "look like?" or how things "really are?" "oh I love you" she says as he looks so "handsome" by "candle light.' Yes, some "really do this" and sometimes even "call it God" !!oh we do "know better" but sometimes we think it's fun to "deceive ourselves" just like those kids "in the haunted house" scenario? Well "being a kid" is not forever unless you would like to always just "be a child" but then "you can never do grown up responsibilities then" Right?

Now believe it or not this sermon began just from reading Acts Chapter 22 and Romans Chapter 8! It just "jumped out at me" that when Paul was testifying about his experience with "Jesus Christ' it was "LIGHT" that was the biggest part of his testimony! In that LIGHT he "saw" that Jesus Christ was who he was persecuting (not just "persons" who were not obeying God "according to the Pharisees") and "In that Light" he saw HIMSELF as he really was...... and he SAW that he had stood by and allowed and innocent man to be stoned to death (Stephen). At the same time he saw the horror of his own flesh and sins he also "saw" that he was no longer condemned by God! And we know this because he wrote in Romans 8:1 "there is therefore now no condemnation to those who........" (read it please Yes please get out your bibles and read it "again"). Read it like Jesus and the Holy Spirit are there with you because if you invite them "they are!" So please, from now on do not underestimate "the Power of Light!". (Amen).

So you see my friends as we talk about "God Spot" that place where you allow "the light of God" to just "shine" into your hearts and minds "yes" you will have to take a harder look at yourself in the "reality" of "what" you really are or that "your mind" is not always "the mind of Christ" as it should be "BUT" it is a very good thing! In that light God's love is so powerful that it "matters not" and the Holy Spirit IS where the Light of God IS because the things of God go hand in hand "with each other" (amen) and God cannot seperate himself "from himself" (nor would we wish him to!) so then when Paul talked about "Walking by and in the Spirit' and THESE shall be called the Sons of God (Romans 8) there is much to be said here about "Walking in the Spirit' and if we are not well then "we should be".

There are absolutely "volumes" that could be preached about the Holy Spirit as well- So Father I pray: "LET THERE BE LIGHT" in all the hearts and minds of those reading these pages and may the Holy Spirit "grant us' the power to receive revelation of your word Father, which causes us to go forward and grow up "in Him" which is Jesus Christ our Lord. "Let Christ be formed in us'. Thank you Father with all my heart". Amen.

Defilement! And why we should cooperate with God in the process of Holiness: by Laura Grace

a little on defilement
and unclean spirits........by Laura Grace

If you have bitter envy or self seeking don't lie about it (Book of James) ......
We cannot hide what is in our hearts from God: He sees it all. It is when
we are made more like him he will reveal things about others and not before that. Anything else is just suspicions. He Reveals truths to people he knows can handle it (grown ups in Him.) When Jesus uncovered what was going on with the woman at the well his heart was full of love for her and: "she knew it" and that's why she became his faithful follower and talked about him to everyone she met: "Come meet this Jesus!" she said.........

There is much that can be said about defilement which leads to uncleanness and can lead to unclean spirits hovering around. Peter was told to go preach "to the unclean" but he was told "kill and eat". No, this doesn't mean he is going to kill people but he was a warrior priest (dragon slayer if you will!). If we sit and talk to unclean spirits or try to reason people out of their defilement we will just get dirty ourselves and pollute the river of life within us.

Things "within" a person's heart that they hold fast to: whether it be foolishness, pride, deceitfulness, sexual sins, hatred, murder and everything else "unholy" cannot be reasoned with they must be cast out. They can be cast out by the Word of God and his living water flowing through a cleansed vessel of God!

In Mark chapter 7 Jesus (after rebuking the Pharisees for their focus on washing hands and getting after Jesus about his disciples not washing their hands) said "HEAR THIS" (to the whole multitude) saying "It's not what goes into your mouth that makes you unclean but what comes from out of your heart!" He went on with a list which included pride as well as deceit and foolishness! When we come to God to be changed and transformed we have all discovered unclean or defiled things within us that need to COME OUT and be replaced with the beautiful and lovely things of God. It is when people no longer see these things within us, they will be drawn to the beauty and Light of God shining out of our hearts.

There is much that can be said about defilement, but one definition is to pollute or to muddy or to "tread upon" or insult. A defiled person will tread and trample all over the top of something Holy and not seem to think they are doing anything wrong! Instead of receiving the living Word of God that can cleanse them and wash them clean they will argue and fuss and try to make God's words of no effect.

This type of defilement must be cast out and away from a separated and Holy vessel of God. To be Holy Means to be "set apart" and that means we cannot have arguments with those who wish to cling to their defilements. Unclean spirits will "act up" when the presence of God is around! Let's not deceive ourselves and think there "is no" spirit realm because there is! We need not fear it but we do need to be aware and study and learn so we can grow to a point where we can talk to those unclean spirits and say: "STOP" Cease! Desist! "FLEE" .......so the difference IS really made in the Heart and there is more to this than just calling on God's name. amen!

Resist the devil and he will flee! And I don't care who he is using. Resist him! in Jesus' name........(your humble servant) Laura Grace

How do I know if I've Grown? by Laura Grace

How do I know if I've grown? (by Laura Grace)

Yes this is a very good question is it not? It is!
One I was "afraid to ask" and didn't for a very long
time either! Listen I have to be honest with you
because deep down I knew this was needed but I
kept thinking "I don't have time" so every now and
then I would say "send me miracle Grow" Father!

Supernatural stuff to me was like "miracle grow!"
I can look back now and see how I was scrambling
to know and to grow after I became born again! I
wanted to know everything! I studied everything I
could get my hands on about healing about how to
have faith and how to have fruit and how to witness
and how to be "all I can be" in the Lord! I went through
This seminar twice on "finding your purpose" and took
spiritual gift tests, sat in bible studies and sermons
and talked to Christians all the time! to me planning
a vacation or even buying a house or shopping was
"WORLDLY" because I was raised Lutheran but I was

In a Pentecostal type church for a long time (soaking in
all they said like a sponge!!!). GROWN to me meant
1 Corn 13 all my childish things are put away because I
now LOVE everyone! Isn't that what perfect means? All
the other stuff is nothing (prophecy all that) and now the
perfect has come and I love EVERYONE like God does!

How I discovered I wasn't grown was hard questions used
to upset me! (a lot) that was one way I knew. :)

I think some of my best stories would have to be told in
person! And what I have experienced in the Lord could
not fit in 10 books if I wrote it all down! (and I am still
growing) but this idea that I have to love everyone except
me well, that had to go first! Why? Because how can I be
all God wants if I don't love myself enough to LET myself
have time to grow (first off!) and how can I grow if I am
not drinking in living water every day not just on Sunday?

and what if I just pretended to understand what all these
scriptures mean instead of really finding out for myself what
they mean? And what If I don't apply it because I am too
busy rushing to the next thing I want to learn?

And what if I say I can see and hide the fact I am blind to
some stuff? OH this journey I have been on involved every
single day of submitting it all to Jesus let me tell you but
yes to Grow? To grow you have to GO and follow JESUS
and it takes guts too (I found that out!). He WILL and can
take you on a Journey and it may not be what you think!

How do I know I'm growing? There is so much to this! How
about we start with REALLY being yoked to Jesus first and
what if we took what he said Literally like: "BREAD" His word is
bread (FOOD) and what if we began to see and believe we can
have this really truly LIVING RELATIONSHIP With God and we
CAN (CAN) KNOW HIM! .........(for ourselves!) ..........

Who cut in on you and said you can't? What are the obstacles
that seem to stand in your way? Admitting we are not as grown
as we thought is the first step (and the hardest one of all I might
add) because Knowing God is not the same as knowing about him!

And yes I do say some radical stuff! but I have lived it! and I am
not afraid to talk about it! and yes sometimes what I say will make
someone mad! (who does she think she is anyway?) but I know
God is with me on this. HOW I KNOW Is because I am CONFIDENT
in my heart because the HOLY SPIRIT has convinced me of truth
after truth after truth! And the biggest testimony of all is KNOWING
Who you are in him and THAT yes you do KNOW him (and he knows
you!) and that you are so full of God you can explain things from the
revelation of your own heart from God to you and the word is alive
to you it's water it's bread! and when you study God shows you more
and more and more because now you know YES THIS IS SUPPOSED
TO HAPPEN! I AM supposed to be another TREE of his growing by the
living water with fruit and leaves and branches and yes I am a minister
of his because minister means servant! And am so full of the Love

Of God I am not afraid of what is coming and I can truly rest in him now
because "God and I" have faced everything there is to know "together'
and what we have not faced yet we will! (Together) ........

I have to stop this is getting long! CONFIDENCE in your Daddy God
even more so than your earthly parents because you KNOW ......

Growing........the revelations are branching out from God to you and it's
getting bigger and bigger! and you love to hear other's testimonies of
God and what he is saying to them because YOU KNOW your heavenly
Father and "dad is with you" while you shop, cook, work, drive, pray, and
I have no doubt many are grown already but I believe God wants to make
growing More exciting (AND FUN) .........and this is part of going back to
our first love by the way Having fun WITH HIM while also learning of him
in Our everyday lives! And let's not stagnate either! and let's all get involved!

When a child is grown they can go do all the stuff mom and dad can do........
Right? ...........so it's not just about loving everyone we are re-born and become
as a baby, then a child and while we don't want to lose our child like faith we
do need to grow UP In Jesus (Ephesians 4) and those who "won't" don't! it's not
automatic either! If that were true we would not see the scary things we see so yes
we really do have to take Dad's hand (the Father) and by his Spirit we learn!
and if you don't believe that read John 14, 15, 16 and circle every place you see
the word Spirit!

I have said enough for today! (there is really so
much to this!!).......with love and prayers! soaking in Living water today!
