Encompassed in Darkness

Lost in Despair

Nobody Listens

and Nobody Cares

 

That's how you're feeling

but it's not the truth

Jesus has loved you

from the times of your youth

 

Pour out to your best friend

Jesus my Lord

all your complaints

because he's never bored

 

I promise you this

The bible is true

He listened to Kings

and he'll listen to you

 

King David complained

Just read it in Psalms

vented and aired it out

all the day long

 

And I don't know when

Jesus responds

but he'll listen and help you

and give you a song

 

He is your light

Your salvation, your friend

He has created

a world without end

 

Talk to him now

He will never "retire"

From being your savior

your hope and your friend

He's your redeemer

from beginning to end

 

Ask for his guidance

Ask him for prayer

Ask him for everything

Be assured, He DOES care.
